Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
A trip to the Emergency Room should only be made in the case of serious injury or illness that needs immediate medical attention. If you are feeling poorly, have symptoms that imply a common medical disease like a cold, a minor cut, stomach discomfort, or a headache, or if you believe your condition is not an emergency, you should see your primary care physician (PCP).
Be sure to bring your ID, Work Permit, foreigner permit, or passport with you so that your treatment procedure goes as smoothly as possible. Although this is an emergency, we recognize that bringing these papers is not always feasible. Awaiting papers will be requested from family members of patients who fail to provide them throughout therapy.
A nurse will quickly analyze the severity of your ailment before determining how long you'll have to wait. Waiting times aren't based on when you arrive but rather on the severity of your disease if it isn't treated quickly. Regardless of their age, all patients will be evaluated and treated in this manner (this includes patients who walk in on their own or are brought by ambulance).
